Returns & Exchange Policy
We’re dedicated to making your Cloth & Crown experience a great one. If you’re not happy with your purchase for whatever reason, you can return the item provided it meets the following conditions:
- Items must be returned within 30 days of purchase.
- Items must be returned in the same condition as you received them. This means the item must be unwashed, unworn and in the original undamaged packaging with all tags attached.
How do I return an item?
To return an item, please complete email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to fill us in on the details.
We will review your request within 1-2 business days, and provide you with an address to return your item to.
- For a refund, your item must be in original condition.
- You are responsible for all return shipping costs, unless we have made a mistake with your order.
Upon receipt of the items, they will undergo a quality review and once cleared, you will receive a refund or credit note for the purchase price (excluding original shipping cost) directly to the original method of payment used for purchase. We endeavour to process refunds as soon as they are received but please allow up to 5 business days for returns to be processed. You will receive email notification of the status of your refund once finalised.
We do not refund initial shipping charges for items returned, other than for faulty items. Cloth & Crown are not liable for the loss of items being returned. We recommend using a traceable delivery method and taking note of your tracking number.
Can I exchange an item?
Due to the limited nature of our products, we do not offer exchanges on any items. If you would like a different pattern, or sized item, we recommend purchasing the new item and following the returns process for a refund.
What if my item is faulty?
We stand by our quality and offer a 12 month warranty against manufacturing defects on all of our modern cloth nappies. In the unlikely event that you’ve received an item that isn’t up to expectations, please send us an email to email@example.com
What if I receive an incorrect item?
If you have received an item you did not order, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can resolve this for you.
Do I have to pay for shipping my return?
You will be responsible for shipping and handling charges to return any unwanted items, unless we have made an error with your order. If the package does not reach us safely we will not be able to complete the refund, so we recommend sending via a traceable method for peace of mind and to retain proof of postage until you have received confirmation that your return has been processed.
Cloth & Crown Warranty
Our products are handmade in small batches and carefully checked for quality at multiple stages. We work closely with our production team and seamstresses to ensure that every product meets our high standards.
We offer a 6 month warranty against manufacturing defects on all of our modern cloth nappies. This is valid from the date you purchased the item.

Cloth & Crown Warranty Terms and Conditions
Our warranty is extended to the original customer who has a purchase receipt that displays the date or purchase and is only available to customers who purchased the product from an authorised Cloth & Crown retailer.
What is covered by our Warranty?
Our warranty routinely covers most elastics, snaps, PUL waterproofing, seams and zippers.
What is not covered by our warranty?
Our warranty does not cover leaking, nappy odour, normal wear & tear, natural fibre wear holes, pilling, snags or shrinkage.
The warranty is void if a customer has failed to follow the products Care Instructions. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Water temperature exceeding 60ºC
- A detergent containing additives (whiteners, bleach, dyes, perfumes, essential oils) or natural soap
- Fabric softeners
- Any caustic substance
- Modifications of any kind to a Cloth & Crown product, including cutting off care tags
- Excessive wash routine and/or excessive wear and tear
- Accidental damage (items caught/torn/melted in a washing machine/dryer)
